The Background

A market-leading retail organisation are currently seeking to recruit a HR Advisor to provide a first class pro-active HR service to employees within this business area. This is to ensure that HR, as a function, progresses in line with business strategy in an ever-demanding environment.


The Role

Supporting the HR team, the successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that the objectives of the department are met both efficiently and effectively. As such you will be responsible for providing advice to employees on all HR issues including disciplinary & grievance processes, health & safety issues and training and development initiatives.
This role will require a strong store presence and as such this role requires travel.

The Person

Ideally CIPD qualified (or working towards) the successful candidate will have
experience within HR at an advisory level. You will have Employment Relations Experience and have the ability to take the lead on Disciplinary and Grievances. Experience within retail is desirable, although it is understood that skills are transferable across business sectors. The candidate must be a confident self-starter with good organisational skills and the ability to prioritise tasks to ensure deadlines are met.
