Capita HR Resourcing are currently working with their client, a renown public sector organisation, who are seeking a HR Advisor to join their North West office on a fixed term basis. This is a generalist role, which will suit a CIPD qualified or part qualified individual with strong operational experience, influencing skills and experience with dealing with Trade Unions and senior management.
Reporting to the HR Manager and working within a medium sized team, some of the key accountabilities of the role include:
*Provision of advice and guidance to managers and staff on a wide range of employment issues, managing staff attendance, performance, conduct and grievances
*To advise and support on recruitment and selection and retention of staff
*Provision of support with the planning and implementation of organisation change
*Delivery of training programmes and contribute to the identification of training needs
The successful candidate will demonstrate the following:
*Full or part qualified member of CIPD
*Strong operational experience
*Experience of dealing with Trade Unions
*Excellent organisational skills
*Excellent communicator at all levels
