I am looking for a strongly commercial, HR professional to work for a business to business service company based in Slough.
The position will partner a challenging client group of 300 individuals, based across 4 sites (Buckinghamshire; Berkshire; London and West Sussex) requiring a broad range of experience, commercial acumen and strong influencing skills.
Following the appointment of a new Managing Director, my already very successful client is undergoing massive change to evolve from being a good organisation to a great one. A new Head of HR, joined last year at the same time in recognition of the fact that the company needed proactive, commercially focused Human Resources, rather than the tactical and reactive HR of previous years. In conjunction with major restructure of the commercial part of the business, the HR model has been transformed, with the introduction of Talent Management, Succession Planning, Leadership Development; Compensation and Benefits and 360 degree feedback. Having already benefited enormously from the new model, the demand from the business is enormous.
The role will operate as a member of the management team delivering an integrated, comprehensive and commercially focused HR service; influencing strategy whilst maintaining an independent organisational-wide corporate perspective on how HR can add-value to the organisation.
