HR Business Partner

Would you describe yourself as a commercially thinking HR professional with experience gained from both the public and private sectors? Due to a restructure within their HR department, my client, a well known higher education organisation in the heart of Kingston, requires a forward thinking HRBP to join a large team based in their town centre offices.

The purpose of the role is to effectively support and work in partnership with senior managers to enhance performance and efficiency towards achievement of the business plan through people. This will require a clear business and academic focus and an understanding of operational and strategic issues and challenges to be able to influence and provide managers with effective advice.

You will need to be proactive and encourage best practice models to be adopted and adhered to by the business units. Another important aspect of the role will be to ensure that managers understand and comply with policies and employment legislation in order to treat employees fairly and consistently.

The successful candidate will have a solid educational background - a degree level qualification would be preferable, as would being CIPD qualified. You will also need to have shown strategic and operational ways of working and be a forward thinking HR professional.
