HR Business Partner, Kuwait, £50,000 - £65,000 Tax Free

The Role:
Alshaya Retail currently has an outstanding opportunity for an experienced HR professional to join us as an HR Business Partner
Based in thriving Kuwait City, your key role will be to provide strategic HR Resource to support ambitious growth objectives of H&M, one the most prestigious and high profile brands in Alshaya’s franchise portfolio.

Key Responsibilities will include:
• Recommending and developing changes to policy and procedure to enhance business efficiency.
• Championing succession planning and identifying talent for special development
• Working with the Corporate Training function to develop core Alshaya training to address the specific needs of the H&M franchise
• Recommends action against poor performers, and advises on data emerging from Performance Appraisals.
• Recommends changes to reward incentives based on specific needs.
• Develop the process of establishing satisfaction and engagement, delivering feedback to Senior Management.
• Develops the effectiveness of the team to meet business requirements based on assessment of individual capabilities, personal knowledge and experience.

The Person:
We are seeking a strong HR professional with an ability to make an impact in our business and support our ambitious plans for expansion. You will have a strong knowledge of the Retail sector, ideally gained in a high volume fashion or food retailer.

Key Skills & Experience include:
• Strong background in generalist HR ideally with a relevant HR qualification
• Ability to think strategically
• Extensive leadership, decision making, planning & organizing and relationship building skills.
• Good customer understanding, fact finding, thoroughness and interpersonal awareness.
• Fluent written and spoken English
