Our client is a leading Not for Profit organisation who are looking for an experienced HR Business Partner to join their team on an interim basis until March 2009.
As Hr Buisness Partner you will -
* Provide proactive, efficient HR advice and guidance on a day-to-day basis for the Director of Housing and Support Services.
* Provide specialist expertise in the field of pay and benefits, HR management information and compliance.
The role requires highly developed HR knowledge and skills together with specialist knowledge regarding compensation and benefits, HR information systems, HR policy and compliance. The role holder will lead the learning and development planning activity and will design and deliver high quality learning and development tools, processes and programmes.
Role Requirements:
* Graduate Calibre, CIPD qualified.
* Strong generalist experience especially in recent role
* Specialist knowledge of pay and benefits as it affects the UK.
* Ability to challenge perceptions while influencing and building strong relationships organisation wide.
* Knowledge of employment law and practice including employee relations, recruitment, leadership and skills development, diversity and performance management.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide feedback and coaching to line managers on recruitment issues.
* Ensure that the internal/external recruitment process is adhered to.
* Ensure that the best people are always placed in roles to meet business needs.
* Assist in the Talent Planning process as directed, ensuring outputs are
* actioned - i.e. promotions, etc.
* Ensure that organisation is protected against litigation by developing, reviewing and implementing policies and guidance to all line managers in relation to HR employment processes and procedures.
* Keep up to date with legislation and case law in order to recommend any changes to organisation processes and procedures and then to review policies and implement any changes.
* Provide feedback and coaching to HR and line managers within the organisation Housing on employee relations issues.
* Work with external legal council to represent the organistaion at employment tribunals for cases within Housing and Support Services.
* Promote diversity and hold events throughout C&C.
* Provide technical advice to the line on HR issues, through the application of best practice and consistency to ensure that the organisaion operates within employment law and other regulations relevant regulations.
* Coach and support the Line managers on employee issues such as disciplinary, grievance procedures and supporting attendance.
* Develop and update pay and benefits related policies.
