The Background

Market leading FMCG manufacturing organisation with a powerful brand and household name product range has an excellent reputation for being an employer of choice are currently seeking a HR Business Partner for 6 months.

The Role

The successful candidate will provide a comprehensive operational HR service, whilst driving and improving performance across the business.
You will act as an agent for change on site, managing and facilitating key site initiatives and improvement activities.
Key accountabilities will include:
Liaising with Trade Unions ensuring a stable relationship as well as negotiating where required,
Continuously improve the HR service on site and implement any new policies and procedures developed by the function,
Recruitment and selection,
Manpower and succession planning,
Managing the change process on site,
Conducting complex disciplinary and grievances,
Develop annual site HR and training plans aligned to the company strategy,
Manage a comprehensive range of HR KPI’s in order to facilitate the better management of the business e.g. absence, headcount and employee turnover.

You

The successful candidate will ideally be degree educated and Grad CIPD qualified with proven generalist HR experience working within a range of commercially focussed organisations within the manufacturing, distribution and retail environment. More importantly you will be an experienced HR operator adept at dealing with complex ER, IR and trade union negotiations with a strong, resilient and pragmatic approach.
