HR Business Partners – Change Management - retail
Location: West Yorkshire

The role:
Utilising a Change Management Strategy/Framework and your knowledge of the functional retail process deliver change across the retail and/or manufacturing organisation working closely with the HR function.

The role:

• Accountable for the successful leadership of change within a defined functional group, supporting the Business Leads, and with support from the central change management team
• Using the Change Management Strategy and together with the business function engage and manage the keys stakeholders in your functional area
• Ensure that there is close alignment with functions with input to your functional area and outputs, the recipients.
• Thought leadership of the functional business processes, ways of working, skills and competencies working closely with the Business Lead.
• Supporting the delivery of the CM components of Leadership Alignment (and team effectiveness), Org Design, Stake holder engagement, Change Readiness
• Successful execution of the Change Management Strategy within a functional area, a Change Management Business Partner.
• Ensuring change management is an integrated and joined up process across the organisation
• Creating a climate for change
• Liaison with the Comms Team to ensure appropriate Comms for the impacted teams
• Close liaison with the Training Team to ensure the correct process and competency training by functional area

How you will deliver:

• Excellent knowledge/leadership of the functional component, Trading, Supply Chain, Finance, Logistics, Manufacturing.
• Degree educated or equivalent
• An ability to develop and articulate the ‘change stories’ - an aggregate of the change that each functional area will undergo - and understand what change will mean for a functional area
• Develop a network of Change Agents within the function
• Owning and delivering to the overall Change Management plan that is closely aligned to the Evolve Programme as the catalyst for business change
• Stakeholder Management at all levels of the organisation with particular emphasis on stakeholders in the functional area
• Excellent knowledge of the full retail cycle
• Understanding and delivery of the hard and soft benefits for the functional area and ensuring they are being delivered
• Establishing relationships (especially functional and cross-functional).
• Building and maintaining an imperative for change across the organisation and specifically within a function
• Creating change receptive teams
• Ensure that the business owns the change rather than the Change Team member or the Change Team
• Change knowledge transfer to in-house resources
• To be able to assess the readiness of a team for the changes they are to undergo
• A strong understanding of shared services (for at least on the roles) and their implementation
• An understanding of how having driven out the business benefits a continuous improvement approach can be adopted within the function
• Work closely with the Communications and Training Team to ensure that the Change is completely joined up.
