CCI Distribution Ltd is one of the UK’s leading IT distributors of high-quality storage and multimedia products.

Due to their rapid growth, they now have an exciting opportunity for an experienced HR Director to join the Senior Management Team and strongly influence the direction and success of the business. You will be commercially focused with strong influencing skills, ideally you will have worked in a fast paced environment and thrive on adding value to a growing organisation.

The main focus of this role is to establish an HR function within the organisation and provide managers and employees with advice and guidance in relation to all HR issues.

This role offers a real opportunity for the right candidate to help shape the future of this exciting business.

Responsibilities include the following:
•Put in place a strategic plan to ensure the key priorities were implemented within a reasonable timeframe.
•Provide advice and making employment law decisions for all employees, heads of departments and Directors.
•Develop the managers and Senior Management Team through Learning and Development initiatives.
•Identify effective solutions to meet specific business and HR aims.
•Plan and scope initiatives, interventions and projects that support these aims and to ensure their effective implementation.
•To advise coach and make recommendation to the management team on change management initiatives, driving culture, a HR mission and vision moving forward.

Skills and experience required:
•Experience at a senior level within HR, gained within distribution, retail or manufacturing.
•Experience in a number 1 role reporting to Managing Director level.
•Ideally experience in a start up role.
•Extensive coaching and development experience in relation to up-skilling a management population.
•Strong influencing skills.

Ultimately this person must have the drive and ambition to ensure that HR adds value and drives the business forward.
