Title: HR Employee Relations Specialist - Manager/AVP level

Summary: A fantastic opportunity to work with a Mining company. It includes day to day case management and managing relationships with the business and the HR function.

Job description:
*The successful candidate will have solid experience in an HR Employee Relations remit and a background of working with a challenging internal client base within the Mining or Oil and Gas sector.

*It is essential to have a strong knowledge of Employment Law, Employment Legislation and TUPE in order to:
- advise the business on performance management issues
- when necessary manage the full disciplinary process
- conduct and advise on grievance processes
- investigate claims of harassment and other complex cases up to tribunal level
- negotiate and prepare compromise agreements when required

*You will be expected to participate in the review and make recommendations for improvement to an area of HR policy expertise to ensure regulatory compliance, competitive positioning & commercial value

*Participate in the roll out ER projects and policies on an UK/EMEA wide basis.

*Manage advanced queries from redundancy meetings through to resolution.

*Ad-hoc projects, e.g. managing salary and bonus review, are also included.

Requirements:
*You will have proven successes in resolving complex and advanced employee queries.

*Ability to assess risk in employee issues and gain appropriate action.

*It is important that the candidate will be able to be resilient under pressure, have high energy levels and partner with HR specialists to be able to appropriately challenge/advise on key issues.

*The organisation is looking for an excellent communicator, a results-driven team player and highly motivated individual.

YOU MUST HAVE UK EXPERIENCE

Quals / skills: Degree education, CIPD qualified and Employee Relations expertise gained in Mining or Oil & Gas sector.
