This global financial services business is looking for an HR Executive, effectively the number two role reporting to the board HRD.  The objective of the role is to support the definition, development and management of HR strategy and the HR operating model.   

 

You will coordinate the allocation of appropriate resources and co-ordinate delivery of HR services, implementing HR strategy, policies and standards, ensuring even interpretation across business units. You will lead and coach team members to achieve delivery and to maintain required performance standards. You will co-ordinate and manage actual and/or virtual teams of functional specialists to deliver projects within agreed deadlines. You will monitor HR policies and end-to-end HR business processes, tracking and evaluating performance towards HR targets.  You will ensure  effective project management of due diligence and integration of business acquisitions. Acting as the principal operational HR relationship manager, you will also build and maintain strong collaborative relationships with stakeholders.   

  

I am looking for proven leadership and coaching skills, delivery focus, effective change management skills, customer service orientation, effective communication and influencing skills. The successful candidate will be a Graduate of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development or similar. 

 

My client would look more favourably on candidates from life and pension businesses, financial services, banking and professional services. The ideal candidate will have 5 years experience in a senior HR generalist role, including Resourcing, Employee Relations, Reward, Policy, Organisational Development and Learning and Development. Experience in M&A activity would be a distinct advantage. 

 

The role would offer c£90K plus discretionary bonus,  private medical, 4x life cover, PHI, contributory pension scheme with matching up to 6%.
