Job Summary
Our client, an international law firm is recruiting for an HR and Facilities Manager to join their office in Milton Keynes.

Person Spec
The role is looking for an individual to start as soon as possible for an initial contract until May 2009. There will however be the possibility of this extending into a job share of 6 months on and 6 months off.

The objective of the role will be to provide operational support and take managerial responsibility for the day to day HR and facilities functions.

The key responsibilities of the role will include:

*Acting as an HR business partner to the department
*Managing recruitment of the department
*Coordinating performance reviews
*Managing the salary review process and bonus schemes
*Coaching and advising managers
*Managing any employee relation issues
*Facilitating and improving departmental communication
*Managing all aspects of facility's repairs/maintenance work
*Other ad hoc duties that may arise

The selected candidate will have a solid generalist HR background, ideally from a professional services industry.

You will be highly organised and an excellent communicator.

You will have a customer focused attitude and a flexible approach to work.
