We have an excellent opportunity at a leading independent global asset management firm for a Human Resources Generalist to deliver HR support to both employees and management by helping to ensure they have the right structure, people, process and culture in place. This role has a diverse range of generalist HR responsibilities, handling day to day operational queries/issues.
Main duties and responsibilities will be as follows:
* Advise and assist managers in organisational re-structures
* Assist in the completion of salary surveys, benchmarking, job matching and annual data cleanse exercises
* Assist in the pay/bonus review process
* Advise employees on ad hoc queries
* Assist the Recruitment Manager with recruitment at a junior/middle management level across the business
* Assist with the implementation of new HR programmes/initiatives
* Advise and assist managers to investigate and/or conduct disciplinaries and grievances
* Assist managers in dealing with both long term sickness absence and persistent short-term sickness absence
* Supervise the HR Administrator to ensure all HR administration is performed in an accurate and timely manner
The ideal candidate will be CIPD qualified with solid HR generalist experience, dealing directly with managers on a wide variety of HR issues including strong Employee Relations advise (you will also have a solid understanding and knowledge of HR practices and employment law). A professional or financial services background is desirable but not a must.
