Job Summary
The role of the HRIS business analyst is primarily to provide support to the European HR group on all HR applications and systems, and to work closely with the HRIS Manager on system related projects.

You will primiarli be responsible for Handling HRIS queries and trouble shooting problems, training, managing projects, cyclical reporting, producing and maintaining HRIS documentation and process mapping as well as providing intranet support/updates.

You should be available immediately as the role is due to start ASAP, able to commit to 6 months and ideally have experience of working for a large professional services organisation.

Person Spec
Core HR Application User Support
* Manage and audit process for granting systems access security for Peoplesoft, Business Objects and other HR applications
* Troubleshoot and provide support to HR users on access, process or data maintenance queries relating to Peoplesoft or other in-house applications
* Partner closely with European HRIT (Human Resources Information Technology) and global HRIS groups to escalate issues where appropriate
* Manage communication of system updates and upgrades to the relevant European HR audience

Projects
* Partner with the HRIS manager to participate in and/or lead systems related projects, including gathering initial requirements, writing up functional specifications, producing project plans and test plans and executing User Acceptance Testing
* Work with HRIS teams on various global projects providing support in the form of documentation and testing where required.

Cyclical Processes
* Partner with Benefits, Tax, Compensation and HRIT teams to ensure the smooth running of cyclical processes throughout the year
* Participate in Year End processes providing support in the form of testing and data auditing.
* Produce ad-hoc reports from Business Objects to assist with data validation in relation to specific initiatives
* Maintain documentation on cyclical processes

Documentation and Process Mapping
* Produce and maintain HRIS process documentation
* Assist in the production of HR process flow mapping for current and future state scenarios as required for various projects.
* Work with HR Service Centre and HR Operational Services teams to maintain Peoplesoft process documentation.

HR Intranet and Website Support
* Manage requests for content updates on HR intranet and other internal HR information websites and coordinate with the relevant HRIT groups for prioritisation and implementation of changes.
* Provide support to HR team on creation and maintenance of departmental Sharepoint sites.

Desired skill set:

* 1-2 years previous experience in an HRIS / Project Management role
* Excellent quantitative/analytical skills
* Sound working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Powerpoint and Visio
* Experience of Microsoft Project and Sharepoint an advantage
* Prior experience in the maintenance and support of HR databases and reporting systems (knowledge of PeopleSoft and Business Objects an advantage)
* Project management experience
* Graduate
