The HR Manager will cover the following:

As the HR Manager you will lead the Human Resources function to support the Executive Management Committee (EMC), managers and staff of the organisation in achieving their strategic and operational objectives. This is undertaken through effective HR and OD strategies, policies and practices which secure and retain high calibre staff, support the building of a culture of excellence within the organisation, whilst meeting legal and regulatory requirements.

Key areas of responsibility within this role will include:

• Policies and Best Practice
• Creation of a HR and OD strategy which supports the overall business strategic framework
• Lead organisational change initiatives
• Effective management of the HR function
• Development of the HR Team
• Knowledge of mergers/TUPE out
• Provision of advice and guidance on HR policies and procedures at all levels
• Effective recruitment and retention strategy
• Accurate and timely management information
• Knowledge of recent developments in management, HR and employment legislation
• Adherence to the organisation’s core values and behaviours
• CIPD qualification is essential
• Budget management
