Location: London
Salary: £40-60,000 + benefits

Our client is a leading FMCG business who is looking for a strong HR professional to add to their talented team

The HR Manager will provide business strategic partnership and HR leadership to a broad cross section of the business. This highly visible position will provide HR leadership to include counselling, coaching, training and development, performance management, employee relations, reward/recognition, managing organisational change, compensation, leadership, and communications.

The role:

- Drive current culture by designing reward and recognition programmes that increase attraction and keep attrition low.
- Develop a partnership with management through effective consultation on operational issues.
- Provide recommendations and direction to managers and associates to resolve problems and address issues.
- Provide coaching and counselling to management to increase their individual HR expertise and business knowledge.
- Support employee relations through pro-active, and as necessary, reactive interventions with associates and management confidentially and objectively
- Coach Managers through all aspects of performance management process from goal setting through appraisal and performance counseling process.
- Diagnose root causes of issues, analyse trends and provide recommendations to HR and management to increase business effectiveness.
- Identify opportunities for efficiency and effectiveness in HR and business processes and implement solutions.
- Develop, support and communicate polices and procedures. Manage risk and ensure legal compliance by keeping current with UK requirements
- Facilitate resolution of complex benefits issues.
- Partner closely with central services for compensation, talent planning and training to support business needs.
- Provide timely information and/or education for all level of the organization on critical HR issues/programs.

The person:

- Degree educated or equivalent
- 7+ years progressive and broad HR generalist experience in employee relations, staffing, training, compensation and leadership development
- Human Resources experience in a highly creative environment a plus proven ability to manage conflict and the courage to challenge thinking.
- Must be flexible, possess strong communications (both oral & written) skills, have the ability to deal with and lead change.
- Demonstrated ability to handle multiple and changing priorities.
- Proven experience in Project implementation, and Executive Communication
- Strong analytical skills, with ability to think and plan strategically
- Excellent HR consultative experience and viewed as a valued business partner.
- Strong relationship building skill set
- Must be able to balance the tactical with the strategic. (i.e. get hands dirty and do what it takes to get the job done!)
