Our client has over 40 years global experience in the industry. They are currently seeking an experienced HR Manager to provide professional support to the business and management of the HR function in Benelux and Germany, to be based in Netherlands.

You work alongside the Area General Managers to achieve area goals in recruitment, training and development. To be successful in the role, you will need to take ownership of the recruitment and selection of new starters, including induction and coordination of assessment centres. You will liaise with the People Development Partner in the creation of the People Development Process at the Team Leader level. You will also be responsible for the design, delivery and evaluation of training courses that meet the overall needs of the training and development strategy, with particular focus on leadership and management development. With the people development manager, you will work on identification, assessment and development of potential leaders, and you will design career development routes for Sales and Service employees.

Annually, you will review the compensation and benefits program and benchmark this against competitors in the market. You will also be responsible for communicating the annual total reward statement to the business. One of your key duties is to develop long term retention strategies in line with the recruitment and selection strategy.

You are the first point of contact for employee relations matters including disciplinary, grievance and long term sick issues. In partnership with the HR Advisor, you will focus on improving absence management figures. In addition, you will conduct follow up discussions around poor performance.

You have the commitment and motivation to drive HR Continental Europe and group projects as required and you will develop best practice forums with Northern Europe and CES HR. You must be fluent in English, German and Dutch.
