An excellent opportunity has arisen to within a national FMCG Company for an established HR Manager to develop and implement HR strategies in line with the business objectives. In this stand alone role you will be required to work both strategically and operational. Based in Birmingham you will report into the Operations Director and have full HR responsibility for sites across the UK.
This is a true generalist position that requires a 'hands on' and pragmatic HR Manager who can work and think on a strategic level. You will be required to lead and develop an exceptional multisite HR service, provide the strategic input to support the company's business plans and growth and facilitate organisational change by taking a leading role in cultural and people development.
The ideal candidate will be CIPD qualified or equivalent, have experience of dealing with a diverse workforce with a strong commercial and financial awareness. You will have extensive knowledge of HR gained from within a fast paced demanding environment. Experienced of competency based interviewing techniques essential and a knowledge of conducting psychometric testing is desirable. You will be assertive and resilient and able to manage pressure effectively
Salary £28,000 - £32,000 dependant upon experience
