HR Manager

Are you a commercially astute HR Manager with the experience of working with trade unions? Do have the experience of working within a multi-site business environment?

A leading manufacturing organisation, based in Peterborough, is looking for an HR Manager to provide an effective HR service using proactive HR interventions. As part of a wider HR team and with the support of 2 HR Business Partners, you will be responsible to drive change and performance aligned with the needs of the business. Reporting to the Head of HR, you will lead a HR team to deliver a comprehensive HR service across all manufacturing sites.

As an integral part of the business unit's management team, you will contribute to the delivery of the overall business strategy, translating these to workable HR interventions, policies and procedures. Your strong commercial generalist experience will enable you to coach line managers on in all areas of people management as well as regulatory policies and procedures. Additionally you will provide generalist service to ensure efficient and effective delivery in:

*Recruitment, development and retention
*Compensation and benefits
*Employment relations and engagement
*Relationship management with the Trade Unions
*Change management and internal communication

To support a diverse workforce across multiple sites, you will be HR practitioner with demonstrable experience. Additionally you will have good people management skills, coupled with strong employee relations and up to date knowledge of UK employment law. You should have the flexibility to be able to travel to UK sites to meet business needs and have flair in building relationships.
