A position has arisen for an HR Officer in a leading communications based in Hatfield. The role will encompass a full generalist remit though candidates that have had experience dealing with disciplinaries and grievances would be at a significant advantage.
The individual should be ready to work in a fast paced professional environment.
It would be considered to be advantageous if candidates are CIPD qualified or equivalent.
HR Administration
*Reward administration - inc. pay review processing, bonus admin, job family benchmarking, Loyalty Award Scheme admin and 3rd party supplier invoice handling
*TUPE administration - inc. benefits comparisons, bid responses, creating statement of measures and coordination of T&C's validation process
*SAP administration - inc. day-to-day maintenance relating to the employee life cycle (starters / leavers / T&C's changes), adhoc reporting and restructures
*Recruitment administration - inc. processing Executive level recruitment invoices
*Pre-employment Screening - inc. managing escalations
*General admin query handling via phone and email
*Producing documentation such as Offers and T&C's Changes letters
Generalist HR Support
*1st line support for all HR procedural queries inc. FACE Behaviours and the performance mgt system and talent management
*1st line support for all absence management, disciplinary, grievance and redundancy related queries
*Maternity and Retirement case management - inc. handling flexible working requests
*Operational support of disciplinary, grievance and redundancy process - inc. case management, consultancy, leading meetings and minute taking
*Absence management case handling and resolution
Project Support
*Adhoc support of project work within the HR function
Continuous Improvement
*Drives own development
*Suggests and implements improvements to all aspects of service delivery
