About the Role:

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an HR Officer that is looking for a new HR challenge. The successful individual will join the Outsourcing Human Resources (HR) team which plays an integral part in advising and supporting the outsourcing business across the UK.

This role will predominantly focus on providing HR generalist support for approximately 300 employees, to ensure effective and proactive case management within our Scottish Service Centres. Typical HR activities will include:

·Provision of advice and guidance on HR solutions, always promoting best practice also management of disciplinary and grievance issues, absence Management, Performance Management and implementation of new HR policies/procedures.
·You will manage small HR projects and initiatives and also annual roll-out of performance review along with promotion and pay planning processes.
·You will also have responsibility for the provisioning of HR related training
.



What we’re looking for:

·The ideal candidate will have proven experience in an HR generalist role and have the ability to prioritise and proactively manage multiple HR cases.
·You will need to have strong MS Office skills, be an articulate and diplomatic communicator and sensitive to the need of a broad range of groups.
·You should have a problem solving attitude, with an ability to influence.
·A flexible approach to all aspects of roles within the HR team is important as is the ability and willingness to travel to other company and client sites on a regular basis
·CIPD qualified/HR related degree or equivalent would be desirable
