My client are part of a global manufacturing and engineering group based in Lancashire. As they continue to grow and restructure, the need to develop and extend the HR team has arisen as they take on more work. As a key part of the team, duties will include;

* Providing accurate and efficient advice and support in relation to;
- Disciplinaries and grievances
- Employment tribunals
- Casework and specialist advice
- Absence and performance management
- Organisational development
- Redundancies / TUPE
- End to end recruitment

* Deliver a high quality and professional service, lending your expertise to projects as and when required

* Develop and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders including customers, suppliers, manager (both internal and external)

* Focus on change management, influencing managers to understand why change is necessary and encourage them to adapt to change in a positive way

For this role you must have previous experience in a HR Officer, Assistant or Advisor role and be able to demonstrate expert knowledge and understanding of the relevant employment legislation. Ideally you will be CIPD qualified or equivalent, or have the equivalent level of experience.

You must be a strong team player, with excellent communication skills and a commitment to a strong customer focus.
