Our client needs a HR Officer to advise on all areas of HR including disciplinary & grievances, absence management, recruitment, performance management and policy. This is an excellent opportunity to deepen your experience in a challenging and busy environment.

Providing policy information and advice to managers and staff, regarding conditions of service, employment legislation, discipline and grievance, equal opportunities, sickness, welfare and all policy and procedures are all key parts of this role. Ensuring consistency of application and maintaining effective employee relations as well as implementing changes to terms & conditions and managing the recruitment process is important.

To be successful in this role you will need previous experience at HR Advisor/Officer level, as well as being confident in using your own judgement to deal with day to day activity. You will be CIPD qualified or working towards your qualification (or have equivalent experience), have excellent communication skills and sound knowledge of employment law. This role is a 6 month contract which has the possibility of being extended.
