A leading female fashion brand is looking for an HR Officer to support the business.
A leading female fashion brand are seeking an HR Officer to join their London team. This will be a challenging role and will involve setting up and implementing HR processes from scratch. The successful candidate will be expected to deal with all HR related issues, Recruitment (management of campaigns) and manage the payroll.
The successful candidate's core accountabilities will be as follows:
*Co-ordinate new policy development to achieve a central set of policies and handbooks for Head office and Retail
*Provide first line advice and support on HR policies and procedures
*Provide an effective HR administration service including systems to support new starters; changes in individual circumstances; leavers; production of employment & contractual information.
*Implement and maintain systems in relation to personal files, other staffing data and general HR files.
*Implement systems to monitor and report on HR performance standards and use of HR services.
*Undertake investigative research and HR project work as required.
*Input data to, and provide relevant data from, HR information systems, including information to enable managers to make sound staffing decisions.
*Develop and implement systems to support monitoring attendance and working patterns across the delivery authority e.g. holidays, sickness, maternity, flexible working etc.
*Conducting induction sessions, one to ones and exit interviews where appropriate
*Responsibility of managing all payroll process and acting as key point of contact with Next for payroll related queries
*Setting, maintaining and adhering to Monthly timelines for reporting and payroll deadlines
*Liaising with Payroll Department at Next to ensure payments are processed to local country tax authorities accurately and on a timely basis
*CIPD qualified preferably (or equivalent)
*HR generalist experience
*Strong understanding of payroll processes, and UK PAYE
*Background in retail would be highly advantageous
*Resilience and can work autonomously
*Very good communication skills, both verbal and written
*Service-oriented personality and skills
*Ability to adapt to a changing environment
*Thorough understanding of employment law and HR good practice
