In this exciting and challenging opportunity for someone to join this established business as a HR Officer reporting to the HR Manager. Based in Nottingham city centre, it offers the successful candidate a role where they will be challenged and given the scope to develop your Human Resources career.



The ideal person will be someone who is qualified or studying towards their CIPD. You must have worked within a generalist HR Environment where you have provided up to date Employee Relations Advice. You will have the ability to engage with line managers and to develop effective HR solutions. Finally you will be able to communicate verbally at all levels, have excellent written communications skills and be able to work on your own iniaitive.



Main responsibilities of the role



· Advise Managers on Human Resources operational matters such as conduct and capability, grievance, attendance management, performance management, staff retention and redeployment

· Undertake Training and coaching sessions for managers

· Manage the absence reduction programme

· Assist with the development and maintenance of College resource planning processes to help support improved College service delivery and wider University objectives

· Project work
