A family owned manufacturing company based near Oswestry are currently seeking a confident and proactive HR Officer to facilitate a culture of performance, results and positive employee relations.
The main responsibilities will include:
* Ensuring effective resourcing in the operations areas using best practice tools such as psychometric assessment and testing.
* Undertaking projects aimed at developing personal and departmental performance.
* Providing advice and proposing solutions to managers on employment issues such as performance issues, attendance management and changes to terms and conditions.
* Implementing systems to streamline and reduce admin processes.
* Monthly reports on HR measures and implementing improvement initiatives.
The ideal person will have proven generalist HR experience, ideally within a non-unionised manufacturing environment, and will be fully CIPD qualified. A very good working knowledge of employment legislation and managing employee relations is essential.
