Human Resources Officer required for a world leading Engineering organisation. The role is based within their dedicated Rail business which is a market leader in its own right, with an enviable reputation.
The role will be reporting to the HR Manager and provides support to ensure an effective and comprehensive HR Service within the Rail division. In this you will be providing advice on all employment matters, developing and maintaining administrative processes capable of supporting HR policies, procedures and practices. This is an operational role which involves face-to-face meetings with managers and employees and can involve dealing with difficult situations.
You would also represent Human Resources at disciplinary, grievance, absence monitoring and poor performance meetings. Another main function will be ensuring that all external recruitment and internal selection are operated efficiently.
To be successful in this role you will be an Affiliate member of CIPD, and have hands on experience in a Human Resources role, ideally with implementing HR best practice. In this role you must be confident and able to organise your workload and balance priorities as the role will require travel to other sites around the country.
