HR Officer

This successful manufacturing company is seeking an experienced HR officer to join their team. Reporting into the Head of HR duties will include:

 Support and assist managers in carrying out best practice training needs analysis
 Manage employee relations issues at an operations level – including conducting disciplinary & grievance hearings, managing sickness absence and conducting exit interviews
 Responsible for resourcing activities within operations
 Administer reward and recognition processes.
 Research, write or amend employment policies then communicate and implement changes

The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate skills and experience in a range of HR generalist activities, including recruitment and selection, learning and development, performance management, employee relations and employment legislation.
You will have proven generalist HR experience within the manufacturing industry (particularly non-unionised) and have good working knowledge of employment legislation and managing employee relations to achieve continual improvement. You will also ideally be CIPD qualified or equivalent and have experience of achieving and sustaining the IiP standard, or similar external benchmark.
