HR Officer - £22,000 + benefits

Our client, a well-known West Midlands based service organisation, has an exciting requirement for a HR Officer to be primarily responsible for employee relation activities. You will deliver support and guidance to all employees in the resolution of employee work related issues. These include the working conditions, performance and absence management, co-ordination of grievance procedures, design and revision of policies and procedures and working closely with the management group to ensure best practice is applied consistently.

Reporting into the HR & Development Manager, you will also support the Resourcing Specialist with resourcing and retention activities, recruitment and selection, flexible working requests, workforce composition monitoring and reporting and also support development processes.

The ideal candidate will have strong employee relations experience, with an established background in a HR function where responsibilities have included active involvement in advising on employee related matters and compliance with legal legislation. You will have proven experience in the resolution of employee relations issues, facilitation and management of disciplinary and grievance matters. You will be CIPD/part CIPD qualified and will be highly organised with the ability to work with minimal supervision. You will also be flexible with working hours.
