An opportunity has arisen for an Operations Manager based from my clients Walsall based offices on full time contract for a minimum of 6 months.
As the Operations Manager you would be responsible for the service leadership, service delivery and budget for the specified location. Responsible for the delivery of agreed business, and ongoing change plans you will work with the Branch Director to ensure all business change activities are delivered on time and to budget.
Key responsibilities for this role include:
- Service delivery
- Drive the delivery and implementation of Business Improvement & Change Plans, incorporating the needs of Clients, Employees & Stakeholders
- Maintaining & establishing strong relationships with other internal and external clients.
- Undertake Team Briefings
- Ensure policies & procedures are implemented and adhered to within all branch activities
- To lead, motivate and develop the team
- Contribute to the development of new and existing projects
- Accountable for maximising the use of resources, and planning both the short and long term need for resources ensuring that customer service delivery is maintained.
- Ensure staff are motivated
- Proactively work with other managers to ensure common needs are addressed efficiency & proactively .
- Undertake team briefings & lead team meeting as required.
Applicants must have experience in a similar role within a large complex organisation. Experience of consulting and negotiating with trade unions would be beneficial, strong communication & interpersonal skills are essential.
The position will be reviewed in the New Year and possibly extended dependant on circumstances at the time.
