An excellent opportunity has arisen for a HR Project Leader to join my client at their Wiltshire location. The role is initially a twelve month contract reporting directly to the HR Projects Manager, and will be responsible for delivering and co-ordinating all project activity required by the HR Projects Team.
Working closely with HR, the overall business and 3rd party suppliers you will be leading and supporting specific project activity. All projects are to be delivered through the execution of agreed project plans, and by managing all risks and issues to successful completion and delivering against agreed timescales whilst controlling project costs. The main duties and principal accountabilities of the role will include;
> Deliver a professional support service to HR colleagues and to the business which is underpinned with a first class, customer service ethos
> Work closely with the HR Projects Manager and the HR Team Leaders to understand key challenges within the business in the short, medium and long term and develop appropriate delivery strategies
> Clear identification and strong working relationships with sponsor, engage with HR or Business representatives throughout lifecycle of project (from understanding business requirements s to delivery)
> Undertaking specific HR and system projects, supporting initiatives and designing, developing and implementing HR solutions across a wide range of HR system related subjects
> Carry out analysis to identify; interpret and solve problems, often complex, within varying areas of HR processes and systems. Produce supporting documentation to agreed standards
> Challenge the HR/business and their requirements ensuring what is delivered is the highest priority, adds value and is fit for purpose
> Understand the impact across all HR/business areas of ideas or proposals from HR/business and provide evidence to support or challenge the proposal
The ideal candidate will have an up to date knowledge of employment legislation and HR best practice models. You will also have IT systems/ packages knowledge.
