Our client a leading charity based in West London is looking to recruit an HR Recruitment Officer on a fixed term contract (circa 6 months).
You role will be to:
- To work with the Recruitment Manager to maintain and improve the service provided by the Recruitment Department to Directorate line managers.
- To provide recruitment administrative and advisory service to Directorate line managers, staff and enquirers to the department.
- To advise line managers on the interpretation of the recruitment policy.
- To keep managers informed of any problems or issues in the recruitment process
- To work flexibly, providing cover to other regional Directorates and the locum bank in the absence of team members
- Ensure that the vacancy list is updated on a weekly basis
- To ensure the confidentiality of recruitment information
- Coordinate, prepare and place advertisements combined with related record keeping and invoice checking.
- Ensure that all recruitment information meets corporate recruitment standards.
Prepare and issue job packs to the recruitment-advertising agency, ensuring that the information provided meets recruitment standards.
- Prepare and issue job packs to candidates when internal only advert, and where appropriate to external applicants.
- Prepare and issue interview panels with packs containing information on short listing and interview.
- Issue rejection and offer letters to unsuccessful and successful candidates.
- Arrange when requested for candidates to receive feedback following an interview
- To ensure that all new starter information is passed to colleagues in HR Operations in a timely fashion.
- To ensure that all recruitment information is returned to the HR Recruitment Department from line managers, and is stored appropriately.
- To attend interview panels when required.
- To ensure that references and identity checks meets standards, ensuring that problem areas are brought to the immediate attention of the Recruitment Manager.
- Ensure that all recruitment and equalities information is accurately in-putted in to the HR database following each recruitment campaign
- To assist in the organisation of recruitment open days/fairs. Attending these events when required.
- To contribute ideas to team meetings
