Our client is a Public sector organisation based in Norwich, they are currently seeking a HR & Training Officer for a period of 6mths. You will have previous experience of working in a HR environment in order to be considered for this vacancy. Our client is looking for someone who is able to ensure the provision of training programmes to meet both mandatory requirements and personal development of staff.
Duties will include-
*To identify, resource and co-ordinate mandatory training for all staff
*To source ILM leadership training, present to managers and design training programme
*To set up training database and maintain accurate records
*To collate training data, produce reports and statistical information
*To design and implement a training evaluation procedure
*To be responsible for the training room bookings
*To support Patient Plus Training programme as required
*To review Induction programme and produce materials for new starter pack
*Negotiate with training providers to ensure competitive service
*To design and implement Probation Period training programme
*To assist in all other areas of training as required
You will ideally have worked in a similar training role previously or at least have worked in a HR environment. Or alternatively you may have studied for a HR qualification and be looking for your first role in HR and Training.
