A leading provider of information and business solutions is looking for a Human Resources Advisor to support the business.
The key purpose of this role is to provide a high quality, commercial HR generalist service, which supports the attraction, development and retention of talent within the business. The role will entail involvement in project work on confidential departmental projects or initiatives. The role will also entail involvement in discrete departmental initiatives as part of the HR plan aimed at achieving best practice and enhancing departmental or organisational effectiveness.
Responsibilities of the successful candidate will include: actively working to enhance individual and departmental through HR interventions, working within broader organisational change and restructuring process, provide advice and support to managers and staff in order to maximise the effectiveness of the change and mitigate adverse employee relations. You will be accountable for the management of grievance and disciplinary hearings including those within a unionised environment, conducting redundancy consultations, proactively managing absence cases, provision of management statistics and information (metrics) and actively work to enhance individual and departmental performance through a variety of initiatives.
Of graduate level (or equivalent) and CIPD qualified, you must have worked in an area of some complexity and use professional knowledge to deliver results. You must have experience of working within a commercially focused environment, managing a range of complex ER Cases. Able to demonstrate a strong understanding of UK employment law and demonstrable skills in handling a wide variety of Employee relations issues.
