HUMAN RESOURCES ADVISOR. PORTSMOUTH. 12 MONTH CONTRACT. This role is for BVT Surface Fleet Support Ltd, a joint venture between BAE and VT Group. Immediate start essential.
An experienced HUMAN RESOURCES ADVISOR is needed in Portsmouth for a 12 month contract to provide generalist HR advice & support to Line Managers & employees, ensure business strategies are supported & all staff adhere to Employment Legislation & company values, policies & procedures.
KEY DUTIES:
(1). Provide HR advice, guidance and support to all staff on HR issues
(2). Promote and assist the achievement of good Employment Relations and attend Disciplinary / Grievance / Attendance / Performance Improvement meetings and be responsible for all formal documentation
(3). Proactively engage with Trade Union Representatives to ensure positive and harmonious working relationships
(4). Actively participate in all aspects of Recruitment to maintain appropriate headcount and capability
(5). Undertake job analysis and evaluation and assist Managers in keeping their team's role & competency profiles current
(6). Advise and assist in the provision of Training and Development activities
(7). Design and participate in Training / Induction activities
(8). Participate in improvement and project teams
Working hours are Monday - Thursday 07:30 - 16:15 and Friday 07:30 - 12:30.
