This leading Global Investment Bank is currently expanding its Learning and Performance function in Europe. Through this, the Firm will continue to maintain a competitive advantage and ensure optimum value from its people while providing an excellent environment for leadership, management and product development.

The HR team in London has an excellent reputation. Internally it has been instrumental in transforming the business from over the past two years to a high performing and meritocratic culture, and as a result it is the international centre of excellence for human capital strategy within the Firm. Externally, the Head of HR achieved a prestigious award - the only entry from an Investment Bank.

The Learning and Performance (L&P) function is responsible for all aspects of the following: performance management, talent management and mobility, employee engagement, management and leadership development, technical training, organisation development and client relationship management skills. In collaboration with HR colleagues in Asia Pacific/Far East, the function also designs and delivers services globally to an international audience. In addition, a recent acquisition demands a need to deliver integration and change initiatives to ensure success of the new organisation. The exact nature of this delivery is yet to be determined.

The Role

Reporting to the Head of L&P, this position will have a broad remit. Working not only within the framework of the HR team based in London and also internationally with HR colleagues in Asia and especially Tokyo, the individual will have extensive contact with the business and be involved in a range of learning and development initiatives. However, the role's key specialism will be in the area of inclusion, diversity and mobility.

Specifically, the role includes:

· Definition and execution of the Firm's inclusion and integration strategy

· The management of defined talent pools to ensure a effective business and cultural integration

· Leadership communication of the Firm's inclusion and integration strategy

· Design and delivery of networking & mentoring initiatives

· Design and delivery of inclusive management, leadership & cultural training

· Representation and external publicity for the Firm's employee branding

Experience:

· Solid talent management and organisational development background

· Experience delivering initiatives in the area of culture, diversity and inclusion including employer branding

· Understanding of inclusion and diversity metrics

· Budget, project and vendor management experience

· Excellent communication and marketing skills

· Understanding of UK employment law, investment banking and capital markets businesses desirable

· Successful candidate likely to be a graduate and regarded as an HR / OD specialist
