Managing a team you will oversee the graduate recruitment cycle, and the training and development of trainees and associates, you will have a thorough understanding of how both operate so a background in generalist HR would be highly advantageous although not pre-requisite. Your experience will have been gained in either another prestigious law firm or the wider professional services sphere. The ability to push back is key, as is the ability to be pragmatic.
