This is an excellent interim opportunity to work for a recently privatised organisation in Birmingham.

Following a recent restructure, my client has an urgent requirement for an HR Advisor. This opportunity will be an interim role for 6 months and will cover the full generalist remit with a focus on the following areas;

• Provide generalist HR support, guidance and professional advice on all aspects of people management and development.
• Manage staff relationships, promptly respond to ER queries and manage expectations.
• Support the HR Manager with grievance, disciplinary and capability investigations and hearings.
• Ensure ER matters are handled fairly and consistently in line with legal and company requirements.
• Advise managers with Attendance & Absence policy and procedure including providing training.
• Manage long term sickness and facilitate return to work.

The successful candidate will be available at short notice, strong on employment law, comfortable working in a unionised environment and will have the confident to hit the ground running.
