A European leader in Supply Chain Solutions is looking for an excellent HR professional to join their team in Manchester and provide support during a period of change.
Following on from an internal promotion my client has an urgent requirement for an HR Advisor. This opportunity will be an interim role to begin with but there is a strong chance that it will go permanent. This role will cover the full generalist remit with a focus on the following areas:
Provide generalist HR support, guidance and professional advice on all aspects of people management and development to managers and staff on site.
Manage staff relationships, promptly respond to ER queries and manage expectations.
Support the HR Manager with grievance, disciplinary and capability investigations and hearings.
Ensure ER matters are handled fairly and consistently in line with legal and company requirements.
Advise managers with Attendance & Absence policy and procedure including providing training.
Liaise with occupational health provider to manage long term sickness and facilitate return to work.
Support and develop recruitment campaigns

The successful candidate will be available at short notice, strong on employment law, comfortable working in a unionised environment and will have the confident to hit the ground running.
