This public sector organisation are looking for an interim HR Advisor until the end of March 2009. You will support an HR Business Partner with responsibility for a specific area of the organisation, providing professional HR advice and support to managers. Your responsibilities will include HR policy development, assisting the HR Business Partner with organisational change and advising on terms and conditions of employment and general employment law. You will also accompany and support managers with disciplinary, grievance, performance and absence management and will support managers in consultations on implementing restructuring and changes in working practises. You will need to have a thorough understanding of employment law and experience of managing complex disciplinary and grievance cases, preferably in a unionised environment.
