Our client a blue chip multi-site service provider is looking for a talented HR Business Partner. You will work in a stand alone position and report to the Head of HR. The key elements of this role are as follows:

*To lead on the development and delivery of people strategy for the Global Operations team in order to best meet business requirements and strategic goals and to play a key role in developing a culture that will support effective performance and delivery of the British Council's objectives.
*To develop and maintain strong working relationships with business leaders in the Operations teams and with a wider group of internal stakeholders, including the Innovation teams and senior HR professionals in the global network, in order to ensure a strong understanding of corporate and business direction and requirements
*To provide senior management with relevant information, analysis and advice that best supports the effective planning and management of the staffing implications of key decisions
*To design and/or commission innovative HR solutions that will contribute to an effective delivery of the programmes and services by the Operations teams that will lead to achievement of corporate and business goals.
*To measure the impact of HR solutions and services in the Operations teams and use the results of such measures to inform future HR interventions.
*To facilitate the development of the Regional HR Business Partner network through effective corporate advocacy, knowledge sharing and professional updating so that strategic HR interventions and HR business processes are implemented consistently and effectively around the global network for business success.
*To lead on HR staff development initiatives in order to encourage and develop HR staff throughout the global network in line with corporate values, HR standards, knowledge sharing and best practice.
*To work with Director HR as part of UK-based HR leadership team to provide professional leadership and advocacy for the global HR function and ensure the robust measurement of the impact of corporate HR interventions

The ideal candidate will have the ability to measure and deliver results against challenging targets. Capable of developing strong relationships and influencing at a senior level. Problem solving, consensus building and creativity. Time management and priority setting
