Our client is a household name and a leader in it's chosen sector and they require an experienced HR Consultant to provide immediate support in the short term. You will have experience of successfully operating in a changing environment and will have managed ER issues for internal stakeholders and also external contractors. Given that this immediate role is to last for anything from 3-4 months, you will be currently available.
The role will include staff consultation, setting up an onsite career centre with outplacement support (working with an external provider), supporting redeployment of employees, SAP administration, redundancy letters and business as usual activities.
We are seeking a candidate with previous experience of managing or supporting a redundancy programme and who has also had experience of setting up outplacement support and redeploying people. Additionally, previous experience of redundancy consultation with employee representatives would be desirable.
In addition to the generalist ER issues expected from a HR Consultant, you will be able to demonstrate experience of successfully closing sites and transferring knowledge to the new premises and have operated in a senior HR role.
