Working exclusively with a well respected local legal firm in central Hove, we are seeking an Interim HR Consultant. This exciting opportunity is initially for a three month contract with the possibility of extended consultancy work thereafter.
This forward thinking legal practice employs nearly 50 staff, and are seeking an individual to review, amend and improve existing HR policies, including the staff appraisal process and employee handbook. You will also propose, draft and implement new HR policies and processes, including a formal induction process.
You will gain buy in from management and staff. You will offer coaching to line managers on procedures including the appraisal process and best practice recruitment and selection, to include interviewing techniques.
You will operate both strategically and transactionally, as the role will require the hands-on implementation of the new and revised policies. Some secretarial support will be available, however this is predominantly a standalone role.
You will have previous experience of similar consultancy or start up roles, ideally with previous experience of Sage HR software. You will also be CIPD qualified or equivalent. With on-site parking and the option of flexible / reduced working hours, this opportunity would suit someone who is immediately available.
