This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced HR Manager to work for one of the leading organisations in the logistics/distribution sector.

Due to maternity leave, an experienced HR Manager is required to provide a proactive and professional HR service to all levels of employees on a day to day basis for a single site in the East Midlands. The role will focus on the following;

•Leading a team delivering advice on issues relating to training and work standards
•Review and development of the HR office function relating structure, service and work stream
•Providing advice and support to line managers to ensure their capability in delivering people management responsibilities; including discipline and grievance handling, recruitment, performance management and absence management.
•Management of long term sickness and capability issues
•Dealing with ER issues in conjunction with Trade Unions
•HR representation at operational site meetings and designing and presenting weekly and period end commentary on all HR related activity
•Experience of preparing cases for tribunal in conjunction with company lawyer
I am looking for someone who is available to start at the beginning of November with the HR experience to be able to hit the ground running. You will be used to working in a tough and fast paced environment and will have the ability to build relationships quickly.
