Interim HR Manager

Initially 6 Months (Possibility of extension)

Working for a key Public Sector employer under going some organisational change and development, as the HR Manager you will be a key person within a very customer focused HR team.

You will be a key link between the business and HR to ensure that the requirements of the business are met whilst supporting staff and management. As the HR Manager your role will be varied from day to day issues to implementing strategic initiatives.

HR Manager - Key Responsibilities:

• Advising management and employees on employment issues including appraisal, disciplinary, capability and other performance issues, managing diversity, motivation and reward.
• Manage employee relations issues
• Trade union consultation and negotiation
• Performance management
• Pro-actively manage sickness and absence
• Develop an understanding of the implications and consequences of employment legislation changes in areas such as Parental leave, absence management, flexible working etc
• Developing and reviewing polices and procedures
• Manage aspects of the organisational change programme

HR Manager Skills / Experience:

• Experience of advising on a range of HR issues especially around all areas of employee relations.
• You MUST have Public Sector experience otherwise unfortunately your application cannot be considered for this role.
• CIPD qualification desirable.
