Interim L & D Consultant - 12 month contract - Start Jan 09

Our client is a major player in the Financial Services market.  Operating globally, this role is to be based in their Leeds office.

Covering maternity leave, this role is as integral position in the HR and Training department.  Intended to provide a high quality Learning & Development service to the organisation, this role works closely with the HR team to identify needs and follow through to the design, delivery and monitoring of successful initiatives.

Key Responsibilities will include:

·         Review and design solutions to address internal business requirements
·         Design and deliver HR training to business in line with current legislation
·         Support the implementation of 360 feedback to support people development
·         Facilitate and deliver bespoke high quality training solutions in line with company training needs
·         Design and deliver bespoke Management Development Programmes to support people manager development
·         Research, write and evaluate material where required by the business.
·         Liaise with Managers / Supervisors/Team Leaders and employees, advising on relevant initiatives and training, from both an individual and a group perspective
·         Source effective external training solutions where required
·         Maintain accurate training records
·         Maintain L&D Intranet site
·         Provide individual coaching sessions where appropriate 

This is a busy and varied role, and will appeal to candidates with a confident and customer focused approach.  With a proven background in Learning & Development roles, covering the full training cycle, you are likely to be working in the service sectors.  You will ideally be be CITP qualified, or equivalent, and it is preferred that you are fully CIPD and SHL qualified.
