My client in Leicestershire is seeking an HR Training and Development Advisor for a period of 3 months to cover a secondment within the team. Essentially you will developing and co-ordinating all aspects of the clients Corporate/HR Development Plan, including internal and external training for all employees, to meet their needs. Main objectives will include Training Needs Analysis, delivering training to key business units and co-ordinating all external L and D offering to the organisation e.g. NVQ'a and IiP. You will have experience in designing, delivering and evaluating training and had previous experience supporting a business unit of around 550 employees. You will be commercial and solutions focussed. With the Head of HR, you will have a significant remit in terms of delivering Training and Development to the organisation and implementing new initiatives to progress the function further
Experience required
Previous training and development qualifications and ideally CIPD qualified
Previous experience in design and delivery of training, including content and materials
Experience of producing training needs analyses
Strong stakeholder relationships with management
Control and understanding of training budgets
Experience monitoring and evaluating training
Experience with training databases.
