The Background:

Reporting to the International Assignments Manager this global services organisation is actively seeking an addition to their International Assignments Team. The role of International Assignment Consultant will be responsible for the provision of all expatriate assignee needs from start to finish.

The Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for but not limited to the following:

Calculate allowances, deductions and benefits in accordance with each client's pre-determined policy

Prepare cost estimates

Prepare balance sheets

Prepare assignment letters and contracts

Prepare payroll calculations and instructions

Co-ordinate relocation services such as shipping, home search etc ...

Co-ordinate tax, immigration and social security services

Maintain databases

Reporting

Billing

The Person:

The successful candidate will have previous experience of: international assignments, expatriate management or global mobility issues. Applicants will have an excellent understanding of assignment life cycle and the associated issues from start to finish. Applicants with any additional knowledge of expatriate compensation, payroll or taxation methodologies would be desirable.
