The Background:

Managing a team of four you’ll be responsible for all strategic and operational issues managing the firms expatriate populations; including the provision of expatriate: taxation, compensation and payroll issues.

The Role:

You’ll be responsible for but not limited to the following:

Managing a team of four expatriate services professionals that cover: taxation, compensation and payroll issues

Developing a variety of global expatriate policies including: short-term visitors and localisation policies

Managing a population of 450 assignees both inbound and outbound covering 100 countries

Liaising with out sourced providers, managing suppliers and managing vendors

Supervising the expatriate compensation team including the review of: cost of living allowances (COLA’s), compensation policy, developing contracts, cost projections, package queries and invoicing

Supervising expatriate payroll and UK modified payroll teams

Developing immigration policies, processes and procedures

The Person:

You’ll have previous experience dealing with: international assignment, global mobility or expatriate management issues.

You’ll be a competent people manager with the ability to gain credibility at all levels in order to effectively coach and develop others.

You’ll have the ability to: review, design and implement new policy, process and procedure.

You’ll have a general understanding of additional expatriate services including: taxation, compensation and payroll
