We have a fantastic position for a Learning and Development Assistant to join a team of four at one of the world's largest Financial Services companies.

Reporting in to the Training Services Manager, you will provide general support to the Learning & Development team to ensure that development opportunities are clearly defined and delivered. This will include course/event management, scheduling, supplier contact, material production, evaluation, cancellation and reporting.

Responsibilities will be as follows:

* Updating and maintaining training information in SAP
* Creating course templates in SAP
* Creating and managing training schedules on the Intranet
* Liaising with both internal/external vendors regarding logistics and materials
* Running reports and preparing statistical data to support strategic analysis
* Advising on appropriate internal/external and on-line opportunities
* Liaising with external suppliers to book individuals onto external courses
* Researching courses and keeping abreast of key suppliers/resources
* Participating in Projects as required
* Acting as one of the contact points regarding training queries
* Monitoring and managing the SAP feed and escalating errors to appropriate area
* Data Cleansing
* Identifying target audiences for mandatory training
* Providing cover in Training Centre on ad hoc basis
* Providing cover to process invoices on ad hoc basis
* Assisting with general administration as required

The ideal candidate will have previous Human Resources/Learning and Development experience, ideally within Financial Services. Solid MS Office skills are a must and it would be preferred if you had an understanding of SAP.

You will have the ability to prioritise and multi-task and will have excellent attention to detail.
